QTS Data Centers is seeking a Critical Operations Technician I to install, repair, and maintain IT, electrical, and mechanical systems within a 24x7 data center. You will monitor building operations, run routine tests, and assist customers on the data center floor.

The role requires on-site availability, strong technical training, and a customer-focused approach with solid MS Office skills. Join a team committed to reliability, safety, and operational excellence at our Atlanta facility.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of technical training, military training, or workplace equivalency.
• Background in IT, electrical, and/or mechanical.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Applies learning, knowledge, skills, and company policies to IT, electrical and mechanical equipment, controls, and operating systems.
• Leads, maintains, monitors, and performs preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment; records readings and adjusts where necessary.
• Provide remote hands and eyes services for customers.
• Provide high level computer hardware and software configuration support. Install suite wall, cage material, ladder rack, fiber tray, cabinets, cabling, and customer equipment based on documentation.
• Installs and repairs IT, mechanical, and electrical equipment as required; assists other team members with major repairs and maintenance.
• Process work orders for preventative and corrective maintenance on critical, building, and site infrastructure.
• Create and/or update tickets within the established ticketing system to address customer calls and alerts.
