Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a dedicated RN for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) in Ohio. Unit features telemetry, patient lifts, and tech-enabled care in a 24-bed CCU environment with a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. Rotating shifts (7a-7p/7p-7a) and rotating weekends/holidays apply.

Sign-on bonuses up to $10,000 for eligible experience and $5,000 for new graduates. Responsibilities include EKG interpretation, central line care, and assisting with bedside procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• ACLS/EMT training not required by, but ACLS preferred (within 6 months)

Responsibilities

• EKG interpretation.
• Central Line care.
• Rescue Bi-pap, High Flow Oxygen, Trach/Vents.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Critical thinking, delegating, time management.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

Current Ohio RN licensure

BSN (preferred)
