Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced RN for the Critical Care Step-Down Unit (7 West) in our Cardiac Hospitalist area in Ohio. The unit features a 24-bed CCSD with a 5:1 nursing ratio and advanced telemetry monitoring.

We offer a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for experienced RNs and $5,000 for new graduates, along with industry-leading benefits including tuition reimbursement and certification incentives. Join us for rotating shifts and weekends/holidays coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Critical Care Step-Down Unit (7 West) for cardiopulmonary patients.
• Monitor telemetry and respond to patient needs; administer medications and manage equipment.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT, OT and other care team members.
• Support bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies) and complex airway management.
