Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, in Seven Hills, Ohio. You will work a 72-hour bi-weekly schedule in a rotating shift, supporting patients with CHF, COPD, DKA and sepsis. The unit offers telemetry monitoring, patient lifts, and collaborative care with PCNAs, interns and providers.

Required are an accredited nursing program graduate, Ohio RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS (or within 6 months). Preferred BSN.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in Ohio.
• BLS/BCLS for healthcare providers.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Interpret ECGs and monitor patient telemetry.
• Care for central lines and invasive devices.
• Administer and manage BiPAP, high-flow oxygen, and vents as needed.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management.
