Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced RN for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, in Ohio. This full‑time position features 72 bi-weekly hours on a rotating 7a‑7p schedule with weekends and holidays rotating.

Join a team equipped with telemetry, patient lifts, hands‑free communication and supportive personnel. Required: Ohio RN license, BLS and ACLS, EKG interpretation, central line care, and ability to assist with bedside procedures; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification, ACLS certification.
• BBPN/BSN preferred is a plus.
• Ability to interpret EKG and manage central lines.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the Critical Care Step-Down Unit (7 West).
• Monitor telemetry and assist with bedside procedures.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT, and OT.
• Support patients with respiratory therapies and vents.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and effective time management.
