Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick in Lyndhurst area is hiring for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West. This 14-bed unit cares for patients with Congestive Heart Failure, COPD, DKA, and Sepsis, using telemetry and advanced monitoring to deliver high-quality care.

As an RN, you will interpret EKGs, manage central lines, assist with bedside procedures, and support patients with Bi-PAP, high-flow oxygen, and vents.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and valid Ohio RN license.
• Current BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) patients.
• Interpret EKGs and monitor telemetry.
• Assist with bedside procedures and manage central lines.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, and therapists while applying critical thinking and time management.
