Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West. Bi-weekly hours total 72 with rotating weekends and holidays.

You will work within a high-tech critical care environment using telemetry and advanced devices to support patient care. Key responsibilities include EKG interpretation, central line care, and assisting with bedside procedures while collaborating with PCNAs, interns and physicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS for healthcare providers certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on the 7 West CC Step Down unit.
• Perform EKG interpretation and telemetry monitoring.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies) and airway support.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers and therapy teams.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management.
