Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, at the MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick. The role supports congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis patients with advanced telemetry and bedside procedures.

Responsibilities include EKG interpretation, central line care, and collaborating with PCNAs, interns, and providers. This is a full-time, on-site position with rotating weekends and holidays in a 14-bed unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire
