Job summary

MetroHealth seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, providing dedicated nursing care in a high-acuity environment with 72 bi-weekly hours on a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities include EKG interpretation, central line care, and managing respiratory support while coordinating bedside procedures and collaborating with the care team. Eligible candidates may receive up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualifying experience, or $5,000 for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Interpret ECGs, monitor telemetry, and manage respiratory support (BiPAP/High Flow/O2).
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies) and central line care.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT, OT; manage time and priorities.
