Job summary

MetroHealth's Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, is seeking registered nurses for full-time, rotating shifts (7a-7p and 7p-7a) with weekends and holidays. The unit has 24 beds and advanced telemetry.

The role includes EKG interpretation, central line care, and vent support, with a 5:1 patient ratio and collaborative care with the team. A sign-on bonus is offered for qualifying experience or new grads. Benefits include tuition reimbursement and comprehensive insurance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing on the 7 West CCSD unit with a 5:1 patient ratio.
• Assist with bedside procedures and patient care tasks.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, nurse interns, providers, and rehab staff
