Job summary

MetroHealth’s Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, is seeking an RN to join a 24-bed, high-acuity unit. The role features a 72-hour bi-weekly schedule on a rotating shift (7a-7p/7p-7a) with rotating weekends and holidays.

You’ll interpret EKGs, care for central lines, support respiratory therapies (BiPAP/High Flow Oxygen, vents), and assist with bedside procedures. Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 available for qualifying experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in Ohio.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Interpret ECGs and monitor cardiac rhythms.
• Care for central lines and vascular access.
• Support BiPAP, high-flow oxygen, and vents as needed.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management.
