Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, in our Cardiac Hospitalist area. You will provide patient care in a 24-bed unit with a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, performing EKG interpretation, central line care, and high-level respiratory support.

Rotating shifts include 7a-7p and 7p-7a with weekend and holiday rotations. We offer bi-weekly 72-hour schedules, an up to $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified experience, comprehensive benefits, tuition

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers current or within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification current or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for CCSD patients in 7 West.
• Interpret EKGs and monitor telemetry.
• Administer therapies including BiPAP and oxygen.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Collaborate with PCNAs, providers, and therapy staff.
