Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West. You will provide direct patient care in a high-acuity environment with a 24-bed unit, using telemetry and advanced technology to support cardiac and critical care patients.

The role requires BLS and ACLS, an Ohio RN license, and a willingness to rotate weekends/holidays. Eligible RNs can receive sign-on bonuses up to $10,000 and benefit from tuition reimbursement and certification incentives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current Ohio RN license.
• BLS certification; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Perform EKG interpretation and central line care.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Administer respiratory support (BiPAP, high-flow O2, vents) and monitor telemetry.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management.
