Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio is seeking an RN for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) to provide high-acuity nursing care in a 24-bed unit.

Responsibilities include EKG interpretation, central line care, and support for bedside procedures, with a focus on critical thinking, delegation, and time management in a rotating shift schedule. Sign-on bonuses are available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Interpret EKGs and monitor telemetry; manage patient condition.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Collaborate with PCNAs, providers, and rehab staff.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, effective delegation, and time management.
