Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West. The role supports a 24-bed CCSD unit with a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, focusing on high-acuity cardiac and medical cases.

Bi-weekly hours total 72 in a full-time schedule with rotating 7a-7p and 7p-7a shifts, including weekends and holidays. Sign-on bonuses apply for eligible experienced RNs and new graduates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• AHA BLS for healthcare providers within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification or equivalent within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• EKG interpretation and patient monitoring.
• Central line care and management.
• Rescue BiPAP, High Flow Oxygen, Trach/Vents support.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management.
