Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio is seeking an experienced RN for the Critical Care Step-Down Unit (7 West). You will cover 72 Bi-Weekly Hours in a rotating shift schedule (7a-7p / 7p-7a) with rotating weekends and holidays, delivering high-acuity care in a 24-bed unit.

Qualified candidates hold an Ohio RN license, BLS, ACLS eligibility, and preferably a BSN. Sign-on bonuses up to $10,000 are available for experienced RNs, with $5,000 for new graduates, and benefits include tuition reimbursement and

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active Ohio RN license.
• Current BLS for healthcare providers; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in critical care/step-down or medical-surgical settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) with 24 beds.
• Perform/assist with procedures and monitor patients with complex needs.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers and rehab staff to ensure safe care.
• Maintain patient safety with telemetry monitoring and equipment management.
