Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced RN for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West. You will provide bedside nursing care, interpret telemetry, and support CCU patients with central lines and advanced respiratory therapies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Interpret EKGs and monitor telemetry.
• Care for central lines and administer therapies such as Bi-PAP and high-flow oxygen.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopy) as needed.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegating, and time management in a fast-paced unit.
