Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced RN for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) in Ohio. The position features bi-weekly hours totaling 72.00 on a full-time schedule with a 7a-7p shift and rotating weekends/holidays.

The CCSD team supports the Cardiac Hospitalist Unit and medical-surgical care with a 5:1 patient ratio. Eligible RNs may receive a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for qualifying experience and $5,000 for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for CCSD patients in the 7 West unit.
• Monitor patients on telemetry, ventilator support, and related equipment.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT, and OT.
• Assist with bedside procedures as needed (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegated tasks, and time management.
