Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West). The role includes patient care in a high-acuity setting, 72 biweekly hours, rotating shifts, and rotating holidays.

Qualified candidates have an Ohio RN license, BLS, ACLS, and preferably a BSN. The unit emphasizes critical thinking, timely interventions, and collaboration with PCNAs, providers, and therapy staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to implement care plans and monitor patient status
