MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West). The unit has 14 beds and functions with rotating 7a–7p and 7p–7a shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Bi-weekly hours total 72, reflecting a high-demand, critical care environment with strong emphasis on EKG interpretation and bedside procedures. The role requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS within specified timelines; PRN preferences require 1 year of RN experience and current

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) with 14 beds.
• Perform EKG interpretation and central line care.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Coordinate with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT, OT.
• Monitor patient status and apply critical thinking and time management.
