Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick is seeking an RN for the Critical Care Step Down Unit 7 West. The unit is a 14-bed CCU with 72 biweekly hours and rotating weekends/holidays; shifts run 7a-7p and 7p-7a. RNs collaborate with PCNAs, interns, and physicians to deliver high-quality patient care to diverse populations.

Required are Ohio RN licensure, BLS; ACLS within 6 months. A BSN is preferred. Critical thinking and time management are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with Ohio RN licensure.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in a 14-bed Critical Care Step Down unit (7 West).
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT and OT to coordinate care.
• Perform EKG interpretation and assist with bedside procedures as needed.
• Manage respiratory support including BiPAP, high-flow oxygen, and airway devices.
