Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West). The 14-bed unit provides high-acuity care with EKG interpretation, central line care, and ventilator support in a fast-paced setting.

All Critical Care units offer enhanced technology, telemetry monitoring, and a collaborative team environment. Ideal candidates hold Ohio RN licensure with BLS and ACLS; PRN roles require 1 year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on a 14-bed Critical Care Step Down Unit.
• Interpret EKGs and monitor cardiac status.
• Manage central lines and assess vascular access.
• Assist with bedside procedures (e.g., endoscopies, bronchoscopies) as needed.
• Deliver high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
