Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus—Glick is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West). Join a high-acuity team delivering complex patient care with a focus on safety, teaching, and teamwork.

Responsibilities include EKG interpretation, central line care, and bedside procedures, with rotating shifts and weekends. Ohio licensure and BLS/ACLS are required; BSN is preferred, with tuition reimbursement and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification for healthcare providers (or obtained within 90 days of hire).
• Current ACLS certification (or obtained within 6 months of hire).
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care on the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Interpret EKGs and monitor telemetry.
• Perform central line care and assist with bedside procedures.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers and therapy teams.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegating, and time management.
