MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the 7 West Critical Care Step Down Unit. The role supports 14 beds with a 72-hour bi-weekly schedule and rotating 7a-7p/7p-7a shifts, including weekends and holidays.

You will care for patients with CHF, COPD, DKA, and sepsis, performing EKG interpretation, central line care, and advanced respiratory support. Ideal candidates hold Ohio RN licensure, BLS and ACLS within required timelines, and have strong critical

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or program seeking accreditation.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS for healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience; PRN must possess all required certifications on hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct nursing care in a 14-bed Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Monitor patient status with telemetry, respond to changes, and support rapid interventions.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, providers, and therapists to plan and execute care.
• Assist with bedside procedures and manage oxygen delivery, ventilator support, and tubes.
