Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West). You will provide direct patient care, monitor patients on telemetry, and support respiratory care with BiPAP/High Flow Oxygen and Vent/Trach as needed.

The role requires Ohio RN licensure with BLS and ACLS; rotating weekends/holidays and a 12-hour shift pattern. Join a 14-bed unit known for high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with Ohio RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS within 6 months if not already held.
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience in relevant unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the 14-bed CCU Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Interpret EKGs and monitor telemetry for changes in patient status.
• Perform central line care and support respiratory needs (BiPAP, high-flow oxygen, vent/trach).
• Assist with bedside procedures and coordinate with PCNAs, interns, and providers.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and strong time management in a fast-paced unit.
