Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus—Glick is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit 7 West. You will provide high-quality patient care in a 14-bed unit, performing EKG interpretation, central line care, and respiratory support including BiPAP and high-flow oxygen.

The role involves 12-hour shifts totaling 72 hours bi-weekly with rotating weekends and holidays. MetroHealth offers tuition reimbursement, certification incentives, and comprehensive medical/dental insurance under OPERS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Critical Care Step Down unit.
• Assist with bedside procedures and respiratory support as needed.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, Nurses, and Providers to ensure patient safety.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, time management and delegation in routine care.
