Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, at MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick. You will provide direct patient care for complex conditions, including heart failure, COPD, sepsis, and DKA, using telemetry and advanced monitoring.

The role requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts with weekends and holidays. Collaboration with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT, and OT is essential, with emphasis on critical

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the Critical Care Step Down Unit 7 West.
• Perform bedside procedures and assist with endoscopies/bronchoscopies.
• Monitor patients with telemetry and manage airway supports.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT, OT
