Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus‑ Glick seeks a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West. You'll provide high‑quality patient care for complex cases, including EKG interpretation, central line care, and ventilatory support.

You will collaborate with PCNAs, providers, and therapy staff to ensure safe, timely care and effective handoffs. The role involves rotating weekends/holidays, 12‑hour shifts (7a‑7p / 7p‑7a) with a bi‑weekly 72‑hour schedule, and opportunities for professional

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; active Ohio RN license.
• Current BLS for healthcare provider; ACLS certification or within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide RN care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) for complex patients.
• Perform EKG interpretation and central line care; manage ventilatory support and bedside procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT/OT; ensure accurate handoffs and time management.
