Job summary

MetroHealth in Westlake, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Critical Care Step-Down Unit (7 West). The role involves caring for patients with congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis, with a 24-bed unit and a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.

You will work rotating shifts that include weekends and holidays. Required qualifications include Ohio RN licensure; ACLS/BLS either at hire or within 90 days; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• ACLS and BLS per hospital requirements or within onboarding period.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a 24-bed Critical Care Step-Down unit (7 West).
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies) and monitor/interpret EKGs.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT and OT to deliver patient-centered care.
