MetroHealth is seeking an experienced RN for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) in Mayfield Heights, OH. The role involves caring for patients with CHF, COPD, DKA and sepsis, with a 24-bed unit and a 5:1 nurse-patient ratio.

You will perform EKG interpretation, central line care, and assist with bedside procedures while collaborating with PCNAs, interns, providers, and rehab teams. Qualified candidates hold an Ohio RN license; BLS is required and ACLS is expected within 6 months.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA BLS for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Aufgaben

• Provide care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (CCSD).
• Interpret EKGs and perform central line care.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies) and manage airway support.
• Coordinate care with PCNAs, interns, providers and PT/OT.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation and time management.
