Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. You will provide skilled care in a 24-bed CCSD with a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, using advanced telemetry and bedside monitoring.

The unit handles CHF, COPD, DKA, and sepsis, with rotating weekends and holidays on a 7a-7p/7p-7a shift. Bi-weekly hours total 72.00 for full-time, with opportunities for sign-on bonuses for qualified experience and new grads.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
• BSN preferred
