Job summary

MetroHealth in Strongsville, OH is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step-Down Unit (7 West). The RN will provide bedside care on a rotating shift with rotating weekends/holidays, and participate in high-acuity cardiac and medical-surgical care using enhanced technology, telemetry, and team-based approaches.

Requirements include Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within 6 months if not current, and a BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• BLS required, ACLS preferred or to be obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care in a Critical Care Step-Down Unit.
• Interpret EKGs, manage central lines, and assist with procedures.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, and providers to ensure patient safety.
