Job summary

ChristianaCare's MICU is seeking a Registered Nurse to care for critically ill patients on a fast-paced unit at Christiana Hospital. This 36-hour weekly, full-time flex role includes night shifts with day shift rotations and the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have a BSN (or ADN with a BSN commitment within three years), at least one year of acute care experience, and BLS (ACLS preferred, to be obtained within six months of hire).

Qualifications

• BSN required (ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years).
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes.
