Job summary

ChristianaCare's Medical Intensive Care Unit at Christiana Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced MICU team. This full-time flex role (36 hrs/week) includes night shifts with day rotations, and focuses on expert critical care nursing.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, use advanced monitoring and therapies, and advocate for patients and families. BSN is required (ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years); BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes
