Job summary

ChristianaCare's MICU team at Christiana Hospital invites a Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity unit, delivering expert care with compassion. The full-time role (36 hrs/week) includes night shifts with day shift rotations, based at Christiana Hospital in Maryland.

You’ll collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to provide life-saving interventions and advocate for patients and families. Minimum requirements include a BSN, at least 1 year of acute care experience, BLS, and ACLS

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes.
