Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center MICU is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate patient care for a high-acuity population. The MICU team emphasizes evidence-based practice, teamwork, and ongoing professional development.

The ideal candidate has nursing program completion, RN license in NC, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and 1 year of inpatient critical care experience preferred. Full-time, 36-hour weeks, weekend Fri/Sat/Sun shifts, with a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience; not for new grads.
• RN license issued by the practicing state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year inpatient critical care RN experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in line with standards, policies and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create a safe patient environment and high-quality experiences.
