Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, at the Main Campus. This role involves care for congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis patients on a 14-bed unit with rotating shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities include EKG interpretation, central line care, and managing complex respiratory support, with collaboration from PCNAs, interns, and providers. Ohio RN licensure and required certifications must be kept current.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.
