Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy required.
• Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy required; BA/BS or higher preferred.
• Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC; current state license; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge in oxygen delivery methods and equipment; performs prescribed therapeutic procedures to achieve adequate oxygenation.
• Administers therapeutic procedures and conducts diagnostic procedures as outlined in policy.
• Initiates, monitors and maintains mechanical and non-invasive ventilators; aware of critical care duties.
