Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program (required).
• Experience with protocol-driven care, evidence-based practices, and collaboration with critical care teams.
• Strong communication, assessment, and technical skills.
• Ability to function autonomously and adhere to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer routine therapies including aerosolized medications, oxygen, and secretion management.
• Manage mechanical ventilators and monitor patients using non-invasive tools like pulse oximeters and ETCO monitors.
• Provide patient and family education on disease management.
• Assist with emergency airway management and intra-hospital transport of ventilated patients.
• Support invasive procedures such as fiberoptic bronchoscopy and invasive line placements.
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Take on leadership roles such as Shift Coordinator and serve as a preceptor for trainees.
