Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NBRC-RRT or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience in critical care.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, assessment, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered respiratory care, including aerosolized medications, ventilator management, and airway procedures.
• Assess patients, verify orders, and collaborate on care planning.
• Educate patients, families, staff, and students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
• Promote safety, documentation accuracy, and participation in performance improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a preceptor and actively engage in quality improvement projects.
