Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis is seeking a motivated Advanced Practice Provider to join an inpatient team in an employed, nonprofit health system.

This PRN role supports high-acuity unit care and collaborates with a Critical Care physician to deliver essential night coverage and urgent procedures. Candidates must be Board Certified or Eligible in Advanced Practice, hold Indiana nursing licensure, and obtain a prescriptive authority.

• Call structure: None
• Practice setting: Inpatient
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Advanced Practice Provider
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Elevate High-Acuity Care : In collaboration with a Critical Care physician, provide essential night coverage and medical services for patients within the Cardiovascular, Neurologic, and Trauma Intensive Care Units.
• Perform Life-Saving Procedures: Utilize your advanced technical skills to perform invasive procedures, including central line placement, arterial line placement, and intubation.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner specializing in Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
