Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis seeks an Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join its flagship Level 1 trauma center team. The role offers a demanding but rewarding schedule with 7-on/7-off shifts, enabling two 2–3 week breaks annually.

You will round on 15–16 patients daily, collaborate with 80+ providers, and benefit from a robust residency/fellowship environment. You’ll work in a Sunrise EMR environment with opportunities for academic involvement, and may qualify for PSLF under an AMG

Qualifications

• Must be MD/DO board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Indiana Medical Licensing Board credential required before hire date.
• Advanced Life Support preferred.

• Practice at a premier Level 1 trauma center and 800+ bed flagship facility.
• Manage a manageable daily census of 15–16 patients with focused high-quality rounding.

Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis (86th Street) is our flagship 800+ bed facility and a Level 1 Trauma Center. It serves as a regional hub with 8 Centers of Excellence, including the Heart Center, Transplant Center, and the Lucas Family Brain & Spine Hospital. What minimum qualifications you'll need

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
