Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis - Ascension is seeking an advanced practice provider to join an outpatient endocrinology team. You will work with a single physician, handle a high-quality patient load, and provide diabetes management within a nonprofit health system.

CME allowance and tail coverage are provided. Applicants should have an active Indiana NP/PA license with prescriptive authority and a Master’s degree in Nursing, plus BLS.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree in Nursing required.
• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure with prescriptive authority in Indiana required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality endocrine care in outpatient setting.
• Collaborate with 1 physician in a nonprofit health system.
• Provide care in an outpatient clinic (18 patients/day).
• Utilize Athena EMR with 5 dedicated exam rooms.
• Drive clinical excellence and improve patient access and diabetes management.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner specializing in Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
