Job summary

Air Methods CBS in Deming, NM seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join our clinical flight crew, delivering lifesaving care during patient transport. You’ll provide high‑quality critical care, triage, and care under the CBS Medical Director’s guidelines.

The role requires 3+ years in critical care, with CPR/ACLS/PALS, and ability to work a flexible schedule including 24/7 on‑call rotations. We offer education support and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field preferred but not required.
• Minimum three (3) years of recent critical care/emergency nursing experience.
• Pre-hospital experience preferred.
• Flight experience is not required but is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care during transport and assess/triage patients.
• Maintain thorough patient care documentation.
• Operate and maintain equipment and supplies onboard aircraft.
• Participate in pre-mission liftoff checklists and assist pilots.
• Ensure safety standards and conduct aircraft safety briefings.
• Participate in outreach, education, and meetings.
