Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health is seeking a Crisis Triage Specialist for the Mobile Dispatch Unit in Spokane. This on-site role conducts telephone triage and crisis assessments to support youth, adults, and families in crisis.

You will handle risk assessments, coordinate with responders, and document plans while collaborating with community partners. A behavioral health degree and credentialing within 30 days are required, with preferred crisis intervention experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field.
• Must submit for Counselor Agency Affiliated - Registered credential within 30 days of hire.
• Two years of experience serving individuals with behavioral health needs (preferred).
• Experience with crisis intervention, including risk assessments (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone triage services to individuals requesting assistance.
• Complete risk assessments to determine suicide/homicide risk and connect to immediate resources.
• Manage multiple calls in a professional, engaging manner.
• Develop stabilization and safety plans with clients and caregivers.
• Document interactions and maintain confidential records.
• Know and access community resources to support client needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
