Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health is seeking a Crisis Triage Specialist to provide telephone crisis intervention across a six-county region. The role involves risk assessments, safety planning, and coordinating referrals to crisis resources.

You will work with youth, adults, and families in crisis to stabilize situations and connect them with appropriate services. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health or related field and experience in crisis or mental health settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health related field.
• Two years of crisis intervention experience preferred.
• Knowledge of NCQA standards for crisis lines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone triage and crisis intervention to callers in crisis.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify suicide/homicide risk and appropriate referrals.
• Manage multiple calls professionally and calmly.
• Document interactions and safety plans clearly in the chart.
