Job summary

View Point Health is seeking a Triage Assistant (Non-Licensed) to support the Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit. The role involves facilitating CSU admissions, coordinating TOU evaluations, and performing triage, assessments and authorization tasks in a fast-paced behavioral health setting.

The ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma, be proficient with electronic records, and contribute to a trauma-informed, patient-centered care environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of job-related experience in a social service-related position, or one (1) year at SST010 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates admission into CSU and assists with TOU admissions flow.
• Completes triage referrals logs, verifies insurance, and processes authorizations.
• Performs comprehensive assessments and analyzes new/updated information for treatment needs.
• Suggests treatment plan changes as needed and tracks authorization timelines.
• Maintains accurate clinical and referral records in ECR and GCAL systems.
