TFI Family Services in Kansas is seeking a Crisis Support Worker. The role is full-time with two rotating shifts, and a company car, cell phone, and compute are provided.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent and involves assisting children in crisis after hours across offices in the area. We value compassionate individuals who communicate clearly, are eager to learn, and want to help children grow and build coping skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous work experience serving children and families preferred.
• Willingness to learn the rest of the responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with children after hours in crisis situations.
• Transport a child to a foster home or accompany a child in moderate crisis.
• Be with a child in hospital or at multiple offices; weekend on-call rotation every four weeks.
