Job summary

The McCall Behavioral Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse for its REST Crisis Stabilization Unit in Connecticut. The RN will perform nursing assessments, coordinate medical care, administer medications, and work with a multidisciplinary team in a 24/7 CSU environment.

Candidates must hold an active CT RN license, have 1 year of behavioral health or related experience, and be proficient with EHRs. A strong commitment to trauma‑informed, recovery‑oriented care and excellent communication

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN licensure in Connecticut.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in behavioral health, psychiatric, ED, or acute care.
• Knowledge of psychiatric nursing and crisis presentations.
• Familiarity with trauma‑informed and recovery‑oriented care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments upon admission including medical history and vital signs.
• Monitor clients' health status and escalate changes to the APRN or Director.
• Administer medications as prescribed and maintain med records.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care.
• Assist with safety planning and de‑escalation during crises.
