Job summary

The CENTER for Human Services in Bloomington, IL is seeking a Living Room Program Coordinator (Full-Time) to oversee 24/7 short-term crisis respite services in McLean County. You will supervise staff, including peers, and work closely with CHS and community partners.

The role requires a Master's in social work or related field, IL QMHP credential, and at least three years in behavioral health or crisis intervention.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• QMHP credential (Qualified Mental Health Professional) in Illinois required.
• Three years of experience in community behavioral health, social service setting, and/or crisis intervention preferred.
• Shall be familiar with Advocacy, Professional Responsibility, Mentoring, and Recovery Support within the program.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid Illinois driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide 24/7 short-term crisis respite services in McLean County.
• Supervise and evaluate crisis respite staff, including peer staff.
• Collaborate with CHS, community providers, law enforcement, and physicians.
• Provide agency-wide and community training when requested.
• Share coverage duties as needed.

Education

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field

QMHP credential (Qualified Mental Health Professional) – IL

Three years of experience in community behavioral health or crisis intervention

Excellent organizational and communication skills
